  • Kevin is a trial lawyer with significant courtroom experience spanning across Northern Virginia. He concentrates on litigating construction, land use and eminent domain matters. Kevin also regularly handles commercial contract disputes and landlord/tenant matters for corporate clients, and has represented several local governments in difficult litigation matters. A native of Northern Virginia, Kevin has deep roots in the communities of Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. 

    For the past three years, Kevin has been recognized by Virginia Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the areas of construction and business litigation. 

    Kevin delivers exceptional value to the Firm’s clients by drawing upon his background as a complex commercial litigation associate at McGuireWoods LLP in Tysons Corner, Virginia. 

    Although he focuses on litigation, Kevin also regularly provides non-litigation services to clients, particularly in the areas of construction contracting, claim counseling, and pre-litigation advice, strategy and negotiations. 

    Kevin lives in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife and son.

    • Obtained a $1.3M judgment (including attorney fees) on behalf of a contractor for extra costs incurred due to concealed site conditions on munitions remediation project; 
    • Defended a local government in a high profile trial involving special use and zoning approvals of restaurant and hotel; 
    • Obtained $1.5M judgment for breach of settlement term sheet following multiday circuit court bench trial; 
    • Obtained dismissal of an $8M federal lawsuit against a major online directory involving RICO and false advertising claims; 
    • Defended $7M claim against municipal water authority for extra costs arising from construction of sewer interceptor pipe; 
    • Prosecuted $2M asbestos claim on behalf of Fortune 500 hotel against environmental consultant for failure to properly mitigate asbestos conditions in flagship hotel; 
    • Prosecuted significant claim for delay costs on behalf of bridge painting contractor against state government that resulted in favorable settlement; and 
    • Obtained dismissal with prejudice on demurrer of $450k breach of contract claim against national airline in Virginia circuit court.
