    Bill has litigated, arbitrated, and mediated a variety of construction, commercial, fiduciary, and real estate cases.

    Construction: Bill represents residential and commercial owners, insurance restoration contractors, general contractors, and subcontractors. Cases include breaches of contract and warranty, filing and enforcement of mechanics liens, pass through and liquidating agreement claims, indemnification claims, and architect and engineer disputes. Bill has represented contractors before the Department of Professional Occupations and Regulation (Board of Contractors).

    Commercial: Bill has handled cases involving breaches of employment agreements (non-compete, non-solicitation, and non-render), unfair competition, trade secret and confidential business information misappropriation, injunctive relief, breach of contract and warranty, fraudulent inducement to contract, alter ego and successor liability, fraudulent transfer, Uniform Commercial Code (sales, negotiable instruments, secured transactions, and bulk transfers), and commercial collection and post-judgment collection cases (including garnishments and prejudgment attachments).

    Fiduciary: Bill has handled cases involving testamentary capacity, undue influence, removal of executor and trustee, suits for aid and direction, partnership disputes and accountings, shareholder disputes, limited liability company member and manager disputes.

    Real Estate and Landlord/Tenant: Bill’s cases have included conservation easement valuation disputes with the Virginia Department of Tax, easement and boundary disputes, partition suits, landlord and tenant (commercial and residential), suits for specific performance, and real estate development agreement disputes.

    Present: Commissioner in Chancery (Loudoun County); Special Commissioner of Sale (Loudoun County); pro bono guardian ad litem for Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board; Continuing Legal Education Presenter in Ethics to Young Lawyers Conference, Virginia State Bar.
